What a year!

Hello Families!,

This has been such a crazy whirlwind of a year at JN.
Things are slowly starting to get back to a sense of routine and normal.
Since we opened back up the Twos room kiddos have been playing and growing in the 3s room!

They have been playing in water, sprinklers (especially this week. So Hot!)
Running around and climbing on the big "dome", bouncing on balls, playing mini golf.

They have been thoroughly exploring the 3s room, and making it their new home.
Puzzles, books, dress up and all of the new toys at their disposal.
Ms. Kelly has been posting all of their fun over on her blog at http://jnthrees.blogspot.com/

I can't wait to see you in the Hallways soon!

Brrrrr...Painting Ice is Cold (But Fun)!

Who knew you could paint ice?!! That's just what we did recently, and it was super fun (and COLD)! We've been learning all about things that are cold and winter weather, and thoroughly enjoying the recent snow...can't wait for more of the white stuff this week! How are you making the best of the winter so far?

More Winter Fun!

Can you believe we're about to begin February?! Time flies when you're having fun 😁
We're still enjoying lots of new sensory experiences, including painting with our feet! It's very exciting to collaborate on a masterpiece with your friends 🎨

It has also been nice to take advantage of the mild winter we are having by getting out to play in the snow with our sleds (even with the little amount of snow we've had so far). Stay tuned for more exciting things this month!

Sensory Play!

We've been having a blast with hands-on exploration of a variety of sensory materials (paper strips, water play, rice, play-dough, etc.). So simple, yet these are great learning tools to support language development, fine & gross motor skills, problem-solving skills, social development, etc. We're building scientific, deep-thinkers here! :)

Dress up is SO fun!

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!
Happy Friday!!
