We have been practicing our shapes a lot this week in the 2's Classroom. One of our favorite books to practice with is called Little Critter Shapes.
We try to find shapes around the classroom throughout the day as well as outside.
You can find them everywhere!
One of the best places to look is at the grocery store. The next time you take your child shopping ask them what shapes they see around the store. You can also ask them what shape the items are that you are putting in the cart.
