Night Sky Activity
Below is one of the activities we will soon be doing in the 2's Classroom. I have a couple similar activities that I will pull out periodically in the classroom. This activity will give the children the opportunity to practice their pincer grip. We use small crayons that make it easier to practice pinching the crayons with their thumb and index finger when getting ready to color. Lots of practice early on will help make the transition from scribbles to writing a little bit easier when it is time to use a pencil.
