We will be doing another snow activity in the 2's Classroom that you can also do at home!
Supplies needed:
The book: The Snowy Day (You can check it out at the Library if you do not have it, or you can pick it up at any store that sells books if you want to keep it)
1 Cup Salt, 1 Cup Flour and 1 Cup Water
(To make snow paint)
Paper, Paintbrush and a Highlighter
Directions: First you read and talk about the book. Then you can mix up some indoor snow paint together. Just mix the salt, flour and water in a bowl to make the paint. You can make your own winter scene on paper and/or practice making different lines (like in the picture below). If you take a highlighter, you can make the lines on a piece of paper and your child can trace them with the paint. You can use paint brushes or your fingers or both!
