The children really enjoy edible crafts.
Here is a simple one that you can do at home on a rainy day.
You will need:
Paper plates, colored twizzlers, marshmallows, frosting and vanilla wafers
Directions:
Use the plate as your canvas and the frosting as glue to start your rainbow. Then pick a color twizzler and glue it to your plate. Pick a different color and repeat until you have finished your rainbow. At one end of the rainbow you can glue mashmallows and at the other end of the rainbow you can glue the vanilla wafers. When you are done, you can eat it!
You can use this project to practice your colors, counting and sorting. It is fun, yummy and has a very easy clean up!
