Halloween Week!

Leaf Piles and Gourds!

We talked about what we thought might be inside a gourd.

We discovered and played with the seeds.

Then we experimented with Baking Soda and Vinegar to make a colorful explosion!

We decided that instead of just throwing away the pumpkin we worked hard to decorate, we'd smash it open and check out what is on the inside.

Ms. Miranda smashed it on the sidewalk as the kiddos watched in amazement.

Surprise! There were slimey seeds inside! They were cold and wet.
