This week we read a book by Dr Seuss called
Green Eggs and Ham.
This book taught us that you cannot judge a food by its appearance. Some of the most delicious foods might look a little scary to try, but once you try it, it might become your favorite. We did a little project to test this theory too. We made our own green eggs out of pudding and cookies. It was green and looked silly. Everyone helped to make it and to eat it!
Even though it was green, it was delicious!
You can make your own green eggs at home too!
All you need is:
1 pack vanilla pudding
2 drops of green food coloring
2 cups milk
and some vanilla cookies.
Directions:
Mix the pudding and milk until smooth.
Then add 2 drops of green food
coloring and stir again.
Once the pudding starts to thicken,
you can put a circle scoop on a plate.
Then top the circle with a cookie
and enjoy!
